Why do fundies always cite Bible verses when they preach to people?

Because the Bible is the only authority regarding spiritual matters that we accept.

It’s just a way of backing up our beliefs. I don’t quote myself mostly because I doubt you’d care to hear them. I figure if you needed to see where I got my information from, then I’d quote the scriptures.
